FeaturesFees and payments
Fees collected. Nobody chased.
Charge a team or the whole club at once, let members pay online or by transfer, and let the reminders do the chasing. The cash book adds itself up.
What it does
Charge everyone in one go
Add a fee, pick who pays and the due date. Each charge gets its own numbered invoice, which the member sees straight away and can print or save as a PDF.
Online payments
Members pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay into a Stripe account in the club's name, and the payment records itself. Versen's 0.8% + 20c comes out of the club's payout, never off the member.
Reminders that stop by themselves
By default a reminder goes the day before a fee is due and a week after. Only people who still owe get one, at most one email a day, and you can pause anyone's.
Bank transfers matched for you
Each member gets their own payment reference. Import your bank statement (CSV, OFX or QIF) and payments with a reference are matched and recorded in one go.
Records nobody can quietly change
Payments and invoices are never edited or deleted. Corrections show up as corrections, each with a reason, so the next treasurer can trust the books.
The whole club's money
Income and expenses beyond fees, a cash book, a 13-week forecast and reports for any period, with CSV exports for your accountant.
How it works.
Add the fee
Season fees, uniforms, tournament levies: name it, set the amount and who pays.
Members are emailed
Charging emails each person their invoice and how to pay, online or by transfer.
Payments come in
Online payments record themselves; transfers match from your bank statement.
Reminders do the rest
Anyone still owing hears about it on schedule, until there's nothing left to pay.
Questions committees ask.
Do members pay a surcharge when they pay online?
No. Members pay exactly what they owe. Versen's 0.8% + 20c and Stripe's own fee come out of the club's payouts.
Can members still pay cash or by bank transfer?
Yes. Treasurers record cash by hand, and bank transfers are matched from the club's statement. Neither costs anything.
Who can see what a member owes?
The member sees only their own fees. The club's owners and treasurers manage them, and admins can read them. Fees are never part of anything a player shares.
Does Versen hold the club's money?
No. Payments go straight to the club's own Stripe account, and Versen never stores card details.
